1989 CBS/Fox Home video
Halloween 4 was released in 1989 from CBS/Fox video.This version is still currently available. There are two versions, the rental version which includes trailers for other movies, and the home version which contains just the movie.
1998 Anchor Bay pan-and-scan
On August 11, 1998, Anchor Bay released a pan-and-scan version in SP mode. This has been recalled by Anchor Bay since Fox video has extended their rights to the film for another year until April 19,1999.
1998 Anchor Bay Widescreen
On August 11, 1998 Anchor Bay released a widescreen version presented in it's theatrical aspect ratio of 1.85:1.  This release was also recalled due to Fox video extending their rights for another year.
1990 Legend Ltd. Version
Halloween 4 was released on Home video in 1990 by Legend Ltd. This version has a very poor picture and is now deleted.
Halloween 4: The Return Of Michael Myers was released on Home Video on May 18, 1989 from CBS/Fox Video, in pan and scan format. A laserdisc was also released. The film was shown on Pay-Per-View in October, 1997 - remastered and featuring letterboxed opening titles. Anchor Bay currently distributes the film on videotape. A few early copies a letterboxed edition on tape have slipped out, but Anchor Bay did not officially distribute the tape until late summer, 1998.-Halloweenmovies.com
2001 Anchor Bay  Special Edtion DVD
Anchor Bay released an new Version of Halloween 4 in October 2001 the DVD  includes- Halloween 4: Final Cut Documenary which includes Interviews with Danielle Harris, Ellie Cornell, George, Wilbur, Dwight Little, Paul Freeman, Allan B. McElroy, Alan Howarth and Moustapha Akkad.Also the DVD does include the Halloween 4 Trailer.This Limited Edition (40,000 Only) comes packaged in a special tin container (Like the Halloween 5 release in 2000) and also comes with a special 4 page booklet.You can buy a normal Halloween 4 in a keep case with the same features just without the 4 page booklet.

2002 Anchor Bay Special Edtion DVD
Anchor Bay took over the Halloween 4 DVD video rights in June 2001and they released the DVD on January 2002 in the UK with the same features as the new US disc.The DVD  includes- Halloween 4: Final Cut Documenary which includes Interviews with Danielle Harris, Ellie Cornell, George, Wilbur, Dwight Little, Paul Freeman, Allan B. McElroy, Alan Howarth and Moustapha Akkad and the Halloween 4 trailer.
2002 Cinema Club Version
After Anchor Bay took over the Halloween 4 DVD video rights in June 2001they sold the VHS rights over to Cinema Club video distribution.They released Halloween 4 on VHS with a re-mastered video picture and new box art, which is the same as the Anchor Bay DVD art work,This version can be found in video shops price under £8.
Halloween Series Box Set (Halloween 4 included) 2002
This coming Halloween Anchor Bay, who bough the rights to Halloween 4 last year are going to release a special Halloween series box set that will include Halloween, Halloween II, Halloween III, Halloween 4, Halloween 5 and Halloween: H2O.The box set is released on October 1st 2002.
1998 Digital Entertainment versions
In 1998 the right when over to the Digital Entertainment Ltd. who released the Film on 3 versions, a new restored version on VHS, Widescreen and DVD.The DVD Includes no special feature but has a nice menu.
