| 1999 Hollywood Pictures Home Video Halloween: H2O was released on the 4th of October 1999 to buy on VHS but was available to rent from July. There is two versions of Halloween: H2O on VHS that are around.One is the normal cover and the second again has the normal poster front art work except this version has the words "Its Plain and Simply The Scariest movie in Years"- Total Film written at the bottom, this also apeared on some of the rental versions. |

| Halloween: H2O- Twenty Years Later hit early in the United States on Wednesday, August 5, 1998, when Halloween: H2O opened on over 2,000 screens. The film became an instant blockbuster, earning $30 million in its first week. Opening against SNAKE EYES, it landed in third place during its first weekend. The movie went on to make over $55 million in the US alone, making it the highest grossing HALLOWEEN film yet.The film arrived on video in December, 1998 and made its way to DVD in October of 1999. Although the DVD advertised a commentary track and DTS sound, neither was included on any release. |

| 1999 Buena Vista Home Video DVD version On October 19th 1999 Halloween: H2O was release on US DVD for the first time with these Features- 15-minute Halloween: H2O Unmasking the Horror featurette which features interviews with Jamie Lee Curtis, Steve Miner, Josh Hartnett, LL Cool J, Michelle Williams and Adam Arkin, as well as surprising new interviews with John Carpenter, Nancy Stephens, Wes Craven and others, Creed "What's This Life For?" music video and Interactive trivia game.The Film looks, though non-anamorphic, the 2.35:1 transfer is still very good. Black level is solid, colors well saturated and fleshtones relatively natural-looking if on the orange side.While there is a supposed screen-specific audio commentary with Jamie Lee Curtis and Steve Miner listed on the back jacket, it isn't on the disc. Buena Vista confirmed that it was just a misprint. |

| 2002 Buena Vista Home Video Special Edtion DVD version- Coming Soon! There is plans for a new Special Edtion Version of Halloween: H2O on DVD.Its said to be released with Halloween: Resurrection when that hits DVD in December, 2002.It will feature two discs one will include the Halloween: H2O comentary and the second will feature the film with its original score thats without that scream music and all the trailers tv spots and alternate mask footage from the first preview cut.The box art will feature the german Halloween: H2O poster shot .It will also featue am Anomorphic transfer of the film. |
