JOHN CARPENTER'S HALLOWEEN-
HALLOWEEN: H2O- FACTS, GOOFS AND TRIVIA
Fact and Trivia
At the end of the credits, the film carries the following dedication: In Memory Of  Donald Pleasance.

Charles S. Dutton originally had a small role in the film as a detective, however his part was removed as script rewrites came in.

During the scene where Norma is leaving, she stands in front of a car like the one in Psycho. The music playing in the background at this part is also from Psycho. Janet Leigh, who plays Norma, Played Marion in Psycho.

On a television in the girls' room a clip from Scream 2 is showing, reciprocating the Halloween clip shown in Scream.

When Molly, played by Michelle Williams, is in the classroom she spots Michael outside the school and gets interrupted by the teacher, and when she looks again he is gone, just like Jamie Lee Curtis did in Halloween.

Acording to this movie, all the Halloween movies after 2 never took place.

Goofs
The newspaper clip shown during the opening credits, which states that Laurie Strode died in a car accident, says that she was a survivor of the "Halloween murders" of 1968. They took place in 1978.

While the porch light of Nurse Marion's home is broken, the electricity is not off when Jimmy goes in; Michael cuts the electricity after Jimmy leaves.

Strings are barely visible holding Adam Arkin up as Michael is killing him.

When two of the characters are watching Scream 2 on TV, the movie skips about 5 to 10 minutes in 5 seconds.

Incorrectly regarded as goofs: Laurie drops a knife after stabbing Michael, but a moment later a knife is still in his chest. She had two knives.

When Laurie/Keri gets out of her car in town, the boom reflects in her van window.

The police investigation at the start of the movie is never mentioned again, but it was in a different jurisdiction.

Miscellaneous: In the opening montage, one of the newspaper clippings says 1968 instead of 1978.

The porch light at Jimmy's house switches from on to off numerous times.

An ice skate through the face would not be a clean stab, it would shatter the skull.

When Laurie/Keri is driving away in the coroner's van with Michael in the back the Coroner written on the side of the van disappears and reappears repeatedly.

When Sarah is climbing out of the dumbwaiter, Charlie's head changes directions several times.

The look of the mask changes back and forth for the scene where Charlie gets killed upstairs.

It is said that Michael's body was never found, but in Halloween II, it was last seen burning in a hospital hallway.

A yearbook page with Laurie Strode's picture on it is shown toward the beginning of the film. Above her picture it says "Class of 1978." But if she were in school in October 1978, then she wouldn't normally have graduated until the following spring, in 1979. So therefore, she is Class of 1979.
