Psittacosaurus was a small, bepidal forunner to the immense ceratopsians. Although Psittacosaurus looks nothing like Triceratops and Chasmosaurus at first glance, they are indeed related. Note the parrot beak, exagerated brows, pointed cheeks and the thick tail. Psittacosaurus live in small, social colonies that rely on each other for protection.
