DATE OF BIRTH: September 29,1981

BACKGROUND: Senior at St. John's University working towards a degree in communications.

ACTING EXPERIENCE: Acting has always been an enjoyable experience for me. I started as a member of Port Richmond High School's Sing productions. Sing is a student written, student run, student directed show in which the grades compete against one another. I also played a Hot Box Dancer in Guys and Dolls, A half of the Gemini in Forum as well as Sagot in St. John's University’s rendition of Picasso at the Lapin Agile and most recently Rosella in Sugar.

ACTING INFLUENCES: As a child my favorite actresses to watch were Geena Davis and Julia Roberts. I was always so amazed at how Geena Davis could go from a famous female ballplayer to a ghost. After growing up and learning more about the arts, I began to idolize people like Gene Kelley, Dean Martin and the entire rat pack. They never really seemed to be acting more like having fun which is what it is supposed to be about. Nicole Kidman also stands out in my mind for her versatility in roles.

ON ACTING: : I have never considered myself a person to come to for advice on the subject. Although by doing many shows I have learned that you must really get inside of your character. Find out who they are, their background and what makes them tick. You must find something in your character that you like it can be anything but you can't play a character you don't have some affinity towards. You should also never just read the lines but more so let them lead you. Those lines are your character.

ON JOYCE: : Let me first start by telling you that I cannot believe I actually landed such a challenging role as Joyce. Joyce is a person who is really growing up and healing. She was so in love with Jackie that she gave up so much just to help him. She still loves him, as many people always have a flame for their first love, but she is realizing that she needs to get over it and move on. She is a girl who is struggling with what her heart says and what her head says. Hopefully people will walk away with a great understanding of Joyce.

ON THIS MOVIE: : I am so happy to be involved in a project with such a talented group of people. Many people will take a lot from this movie because it is about real life. There is definitely more then one way for viewers to interpret this movie and what is going on in each of the characters heads. On the surface this movie is about a group of friends; look beyond that and a whole world opens up.

PERSONAL QUOTE: "Be true to yourself" life is too short to do what someone else wants you to do.
