DATE OF BIRTH: January 18, 1979

BACKGROUND: Currently residing in Manhattan, Peter was born and raised in Staten Island, N.Y. He is the recipient of a catholic school education that culminated in a B.S. in Psychology with a minor in theatre studies from Sacred Heart University, in Fairfield, CT.

ACTING EXPERIENCE: Peter is a newbie to the art of film acting. All of his acting experience took place on the Sacred Heart University stage. His full-length, main stage credits include, Tom Davenport in, "Inherit the Wind", George Gibbs in, "Our Town", Dr. Manette in, "A Tale of Two Cities", and King Richard/Dark Monk in Don Nigros' , "Robin Hood". He hsa also taken many drama classes and performed in many one act plays. In addition to acting, Peter has twice taken on the directors' chair; first directing the one-act play, "Christmas Eve on Orchard St.", and later the full-length production, "Twelve Angry Men"

ACTING INFLUENCES: In the traditional sense, I am fond of actors Tom Hanks and Mel Gibson, and actresses Julia Roberts and Sally Field. But, I have always felt that I have been much more heavily influenced by the people in my life; my family and friends, and especially everyone i've performed with over the years. First and Foremost, the people who have influenced my work on this movie, have been it's terrific cast and crew. I am amazed at all of our sessions, at the kind of work that's being put forth by everyone involved. But the two most profound influences on my acting were my mentor Rick Mckinnon who opened my eyes to theatre and taught me most of the little I know; and my good friend Chris Bowley who's talent could only be described as awe-inspiring and in who's memory I continue to dedicate every performance i'm involved in.

ON ACTING: The firstacting textbook i had was entitled, "Acting is Believing". In concept, it really doesn't have to be any more complicated than that; but doing it is so challenging. The book asserts that most of us are natural actors as children. Anyone who can remember "playing make-believe"as a small child would have to agree with that. At that age, we are able to fully throw ourselves into an imaginary world with the greatest of ease. People seem to stop doing this more and more as they get older. I think to be a good actor, we need to train our minds to think the way they used to. We have to be able to just open up and imagine; and then be able to fully beleive in that imaginary world.

ON ALLEY: I think that Alley is a character that so many people, especially our age, can really relate to. He has an overwhelming fear of abandonment that motivates almost everything he does. He is desperate to find something with some permanence in a world that is constantly changing on him.

ON THIS MOVIE: This script just hit me the first time i read it. I felt like, I've thought these things, and I've done these things. It struck a corhd with me, and that is why I am so glad to be a part of it. I think the movie really manages to touch on the sensitivities and the fears and dreams people have who are between the ages of 15 -30. These are the things we think and worry about. Most of the characters are all going through the same fears and the same doubts, but they each have a different way of dealing with it. Some people are defeated by it while others find a way to stay strong, but everyone feals it; no one is immune. In fact, i think the movie is saying that we are all going through it. We are all having to deal with tremendous uncertainty, but that very common experience is what ties us to one another. Maybe if we're all going through this together, we can find some comfort in our shared experience. In a way it's suggesting that the road isn't always going to be easy, but at least it doesn't have to be lonely. And maybe, that bond is the most permanent thing we can ever find, and just maybe that's permanace enough.
