CAPTAIN MIDNIGHT - Volume 1
The "Captain Midnight" radio show first hit the air waves on February 6, 1939, sponsored by Skelley Oil Company. The final show was on January 10, 1949. The last 14 episodes were sponsored by Ovaltine, who also sponsored the television show from 1954 to 1956. A 15-chapter serial was released by Columbia Pictures in 1942, starring Dave O'Brien.

On radio, Captain Midnight was voiced by Ed Prentiss, Bill Bouchey, and Paul Barnes.
