DRAGNET - Volume 1
The "Dragnet" radio show was on the air from 1949 to 1957 with a total of 314 original episodes. The show also ran on television from 1951 to 1959 and 1967 to 1970. Three film versions were released in 1954, 1969, and 1987.

Jack Webb appeared as LAPD Detective Sergeant Joe Friday. Barton Yarborough was Friday's first partner, LAPD Sergeant Ben Romero. In 1952, Barney Phillips was Friday's parnter, LAPD Sergeant Ed Jacobs, followed by Harry Bartell, Herb Ellis, Vic Perrin, and finally Ben Alexander as LAPD Officer Frank Smith.

The programs included in this collection are episodes 2 through 11. The first episode appears to be a lost show.
