The "Encore Theater" radio show was on the air for only 13 episodes in 1946. Sponsored by Schenley Labs, Inc., each show had a medical-theme. No expense was spared as top named actors were used in this drama series, such as Lionel Barrymore, Robert Young, Ronald Colman, Gerald Mohr, Eric Snowden, Charles Bickford, Franchot Tone, Ida Lupino, Dennis O'Keefe, Cornell Wilde, and Robert Taylor.

This collection contains the entire series from 1946.
