Near to the city of Durango, in the state of Durango, in Mexico, are many filming sites and sets, including Chupaderos, Calle Howard, La Joya (which was once owned by John Wayne), Los Alamos, Casa Blanca, Fuerte Bloom, El Saltito, Rancho Marley, El Canon de los Delgado, and Villa del Oeste.
Only Villa del Oeste is open to the public. It is located about 15 minutes from Durango on the road to Parral.
