ADAMS PORT

Also known as the Bob Lloyd Airport, Adams Port was located in North Hollywood, near the intersection of Sherman Way and Vineland Avenue (west of Burbank Airport). The original airport began prior to 1931 when C. J. Westfall and J. J. Adams purchased the Bob Lloyd Airport. It was a private field and sported a single 1,900 foot gravel runway. Hangars were on the east side of the airfield, which ran north/south. The airport was closed during World War II and may never have opened afterward.
