OUR MISS BROOKS - Volume 1
The "Our Miss Brooks" radio show was on the air from 1948 to 1957. The show also ran on television from 1952 to 1956 and a motion picture was released in 1956.

Eve Arden portrayed Connie (Constance) Brooks, an English teacher at Madison High School. Osgood Conklin (Gale Gordon) was the principal. Walter Denton (Richard Crenna) portrayed one of her students. Brooks was in love with biology teacher Philip Boynton (portrayed by Jeff Chandler and Robert Rockwell). Margaret Davis (Jane Morgan) was Brooks absent-minded landlady. Harriet Conklin (Gloria McMillan) was the daughter of principal Conklin and a high school love interest for Walter Denton. Stretch (Fabian) Snodgrass (Leonard Smith) was a dull-witted athletic star and friend of Denton. Daisy Enright (Mary Jane Croft) was another English teacher at the school and was a romantic rival of Brooks. Jacques Monet (Gerald Mohr) was the French teacher.
