THE PLANET MAN - Volume 1
"The Planet Man" radio show was produced and syndicated by Palladium Radio Productions. It first aired around October 1952. There were a total of 78 episodes of which the first and fourth are missing and presumed lost.

Little is known about the on-air personalities involved with the show. Joseph Boland played the robot characters, Jon Gart was the organist, and Phil Tonken was the announcer.

Dantro, The Planet Man, was an agent of the League of Planets who uphold peace and fair play. He is a humanoid from Planeris Rex and he was the first agent to make contact with Earthmen.

The show was comprised of 15-minute episodes which aired on Saturday mornings and weekday afternoons, depending on the whim of the radio station carrying the show. Some stations aired back-to-back episodes to fill a 30-minute block of time.

The programs included in this collection are episodes 2, 3, and 5 through 27.
