| "Red" Davison is sheriff of Sun Dog, Montana. When his friend "Silent" Slade is accused of murdering Scotty McKee, which murder was committed by Jim Breen, "Red" allows "Silent" to escape his jail. "Red" then quits his sheriff job and heads to the Southwest near the Mexican border. There he encounters Jim Breen and "Silent" Slade working trogether on the wrong side of the law. "Red" fights through 15 chapters in order to prove "Silent" is innocent and that Breen committed the murder. | ||
