In my mind, Elijah has always been a "cute, little actor" I guess I had really never taken him all the seriously....the first think I ever saw him in was 
Forever Young...and I was too busy looking at Mel to take notice of him. ((I know the truth hurts..but it's my site..so I can say what I want to!!))
The next time I saw Lija was in 
The Adventures of Huck Finn. Now he went up a little more in my radar just because I have loved the book for so long..but still he was not all that and a ball of wax for me, if ya know what I mean.
Then of course came ....drum roll please...
Lord of the Rings....I was like..man this kid can act!! I was amazed by his expressions...and as Peter Jackson himself said..."those god givin eyes that convey all emotion."
Even then Wood was not on my list of "love em" actors..it was not until I started paying attention to interviews and other media stuff that I really started to like the young actor. I loved that he loved his cast mates so much!! Everytime I would see a pic of him hugging each of them would just warm my heart..I really enjoyed reading and seeing this friendship working...
I also was happy to find out that he is still down to earth even after all the hype about the movie!
And hey...anyone who is friends with The Osbourns...is good in my book!!
