JET LI

NAME: Jet Li, Li Nin Kit

Most known to the American audience for his work on "Lethal Weapon 4," Jet Li won several wushu championships in his teenage years.  He was one of the few who demonstrated wushu to President Nixon on the lawn of the White House.  His success in "Once Upon A Time In China" (with his sometime-collaborator Tsui Hark) garnered him both critical and commerical acclaim.  After "Lethal Weapon 4," Artisan dubbed a 1996 film, "Black Mask," and released it in the May of 1999.  He is currently filming "Romeo Must Die," which is set for a Spring 2000 release.  Many of his films are now currently available from World Video and Tai Seng at Suncoast.  In 1999, he married long time sweetheart Nina Li Chi.
