Makos Head Coach invited to All-star games

The Orange County Makos New Head coach Richard Wade has been invited to join the coaching staff for the FASCO 2002 All Star Game In Las Vegas Nevada, Saturday December 14th.
He will be assisting with the Offensive Line and coaching Special Teams for the squad in the Opportunity Bowl Coach Wade will also be evaluating talent for the professional Combine at UNLV the day before.
During the week of January 28th through February 2nd he has also been named to the coaching staff for the 2002 Volcano Bowl in Waikiki Hawaii.
He will be handling the Special Teams for the All Star Event. The Volcano Bowl will be held the night before the NFL PRO BOWL and at the same venue.
Several Orange County Makos players will be participating in both All Star games. In an interview this week Coach Wade had this to say Regarding the games: " I am very much looking forward to being a part of both these All Star events. It's an honor to get the chance to participate with both of these staffs and represent the Orange County Makos at such a high visability level.
What a great way to wrap up the current season and get a jump start on 2003. The Makos organization is highly respected nationally and I hope to live up to those accolades. Additionally I have been invited to participate in an NFL coaching clinic in the Spring of 2003. The symposium will be headed by New York Giants Offensive Line Coach Jim McNally and San Wylie of the Chicago Bears.
