This is the start of the budgeting process. Use coloured pencils or markers(no crayon).

As you encounter the following in the script, underline neatly with the proper colour:

Cast – RED
Extras – GREEN
Special Skills Extras – YELLOW
Stunts – ORANGE
Special Effects – BLUE
Props – VIOLET
Vehicles, Animals – PINK
Sound Effects, Music – BROWN

All WARDROBE items are to be circled.

Any HAIR or MAKEUP must have an asterix placed near it.

Any SPECIAL EQUIPMENT must be placed in a box.

THEN....
Using a ruler, draw a line across the entire page horizontally just above the beginning of each scene. Measure the distance from the top of the page to that line. Write this number of the right hand side of the script as a fraction, just above the line you drew. Since a piece of paper is 11 inches tall, the lower number of the fraction will always be 11, and the upper number will be whatever the distance is from the top of the page to the line you drew just above the scene number. Write the page number in front of the fraction.

For example: "5 6/11" means: page 5, 6 inches from the top of the page.
