Joe Mazzone
lives in Brooklyn.

Joe
took care of his
mother
until she died.
He wasn't exactly lonely.
He had his best friend
Larry,
and a job he loved
at the
airport.
He didn't have
a girlfriend,
But he did

someone special.
Of course,
she hardly noticed him.
But one day he smiled at her,
and she
smiled back.
One evening,
Joe
ordered some food
from his
favorite
Chinese restaurant
and
settled in
to watch
a ball game
on TV,
when he got
a big
surprise!
