STORY PLOTLINE
The story is about a wealthy man, Marcus Envoy, who decides to make his own
secret dinosaur theme park, off the coast of the Baja Peninsula (Mexico).
He is associated with the Biosyn Corporation. After a chance encounter
with an InGen employee (who was willing to become a traitor for money), he
was able to get enough information ... and materials to create his own park.
He christened it Isla Norte. Norte, meaning "north", because this new
island was located to the north of the other islands.
John Hammond asks Ian Malcolm and Alan Grant for assistance, to get some
valuable information from the Biosyn computers, in an attempt to get Envoy's
island shut down. After a little coaxing, they both agree. And,
after an intense encounter with her soon to be ex-husband Mark, Ellie agrees
to go along, as well.
Only what was initially set up as "sneak in, sneak out" mission, turns
into something much more, as Grant and Malcolm discover that Biosyn has taken
hostages. Tim and Lex Murphy, and Alan Grant's cousin, Jodie are the
unlucky participants.
So now the mission was turned into a rescue operation . . . and a dangerous
game of cat and mouse with some of the most feared creatures in the world.
