Dr Graeme Woodfield

Graeme is an old boy of Timaru Boys’ High School and a retired medical specialist, who has been married to Annabell for 45 years.  They live on 10 acres just outside Auckland, and look after 200 chestnut trees and sundry cattle.  They have four children and 10 grandchildren (and counting).

Graeme spends his time writing, looking after an organisation that provides medical items to Third World countries and visiting India each year to help in the upgrading of blood centres in various cities.

He has written many scientific papers but after undertaking a university English course many years ago, he has always wanted to write of historical events.  This biography of Jack Lovelock is his first book and he is now engaged in writing a second book about another famous New Zealand doctor.
