Disc 10
Reconstruction Blues / The Robotech Masters / Viva Miriya

Reconstruction Blues:
Only a handful of survivors remains scattered across the planet two years after the final confrontation. The destruction has been overwhelming, leaving only vast, pockmarked desolation where great cities and beautiful forests once stood. The remaining Veritech fighter pilots routinely patrol the deserts to investigate anything out of the ordinary. As Rick Hunter flies over the remains of old warships, he notices that life begins again. Flowers are growing in the ruins.
In spite of the horror that follows such devastation, the spirit of man prevails. A new city has risen over the remains of the SDF-1. Where there had been only chaos, survivors have somehow managed to rebuild. The battered hulk looks silently over peaceful homes, schools, libraries, and parks. There is even a new rapid transit system linking the city with the suburbs.
During this period, Rick Hunter and Lisa Hayes become close friends while cousins Minmei and Kyle drift apart.

The Robotech Masters:
At their distant home, the Robotech Masters receive a telepathic message that Zor’s lost battlefortress has been located. A routine scan indicates that it is surrounded by a large discharge of protoculture mass. While it seems impossible that any single force could have been responsible for the destruction of more than four million battleships, the Robotech Masters receive information that that was exactly what happened. They prepare for a hyperspace fold to investigate the truth behind the data.
On Earth, the surviving Zentraedi are unhappy. They are not used to a life without the excitement of war. Peace grates on their nerves. Thousands of dissatisfied warriors are leaving town after town, heading out into the desert wastelands. Warlord Khyron likes to hear from his spies. Now, with Azonia fighting at his side, he is certain noting stand in the way of his desire for total conquest.

Viva Miriya:
Somewhere within he recesses of another galaxy, the Robotech Masters attempt to resurrect a being in the likeness of Zor, the genius who developed the secrets of protoculture and Robotechnology, the being who took those secrets to grave.
On Breetai’s flagship, the Zentraedi commander meets with his old associate, Exedore, and representatives of Earth. Admiral Gloval, Commander Hunter, Hayes, and Grant, as well as Max and Miriya Sterling, are part of the expedition. The Sterling have even brought their baby daughter, Dana, along.
The Zentraedi commander organizes a raid on the last remaining Robotech factory in an effort to hold the upper hand in case the wandering Robotech Masters find their way to Earth. He wants them to believe that the remaining Zentraedi are the new masters of Robotechnology. His human friends are willing allies in his scheme.
