Episode 01; The Fang Knows!: Yamano Miyu is the new girl in school, but she's also a vampire known as the Guardian, whose job it is to seal stray Shinma, which are creatures that prey on human weaknesses. When a few of the students in her class turn up dead, with puncture wounds on their necks, a classmate named Machiyama Nobuo suspects vampires, and he figures Miyu is the culprit. It turns out, however, that one of the teachers, Yanagihara Maiko, was responsible, as her heart was consumed by a lizard Shinma. In the end, Miyu and her companion, Larva, defeat the Shinma. Episode 02; At The Next Station: At school, three girls, Chisato, Yukari, and Hisae, quickly befriend Miyu, who, despite the warning from Larva, seems to have become happily attached to her new friends. While taking the subway home, the girls discuss the mysterious disappearance of several women who were riding the last train of the day. Miyu decides to investigate and discovers that the culprit is a Shinma who lures young women by introducing himself as an artist. Miyu and Larva defeat the Shinma, but are unable to save the women. |
