Episode 09; Your House: After a young couple in love falls victom to an inexplicable murder-suicide, their neighbors, the Takashimas, decide to take in their now homeless cat. The Takashimas are a happily married working couple who decided not to have children, but when the wife, Saori, suddenly begins to treat the cat as her own child, her husband fears for her sanity. Miyu soon discovers that the cat is a Shinma, and although she, Shiina, and Larva destroy it, they don't arrive in time to save the Takashimas. Episode 10; Swamp of Promises: Chisato, Yukari, Hisae, and Miyu take a trip to the hot springs of Ikegafuchi. There, Miyu senses the presence of a Shinma and goes in search of it. Meanwhile, Chisato gets separated from the others and wanders into a forest where she meets a young boy who tells her that he cannot leave the forest because he made a promise to protect it. Later, Miyu arrives, having detected the Shinma's presence, and learns that the boy is actually a guardian protecting the seal on a Shinma buried in a nearby swamp. When Reiha arrives and breaks the seal, Miyu and Larva must defeat the Shinma. |
