Episode 13; Light Of The Sea (Part 1): After a fight with the Shinma Ryu, who escapes after being injured, Larva mysteriously declares that the Light of the Sea is calling to him, and he takes a temporary leave from Miyu. As Miyu waits for his return, Reiha appears and convinces her to destroy Ryu, who has taken refuge with another Shinma named Nami. Ryu, however, only desires to return to his village and live peacefully, and Nami offers to go with him. The two are caught by Miyu and Reiha, and in the ensuing fight, the Shinmas fall victim to the Death Crystal, which is a mark of the Western Shinma, who have recently arrived in Japan. Remembering bits of her first meeting with Larva, a Western Shinma, Miyu makes plans to go after him, fearing he may be in danger. Meanwhile, Larva confronts members of the Western Shinma from his past, who take him captive. Episode 14; Light Of The Sea (Part 2): Ryu leads Miyu, Shiina, Reiha, Matsukaze, and Nami to his village, where they encounter the Western Shinma Barrow. After defeating Barrow, Miyu continues on to the Ghost Ship where Larva is being kept. There, she quickly defeats the Shinma Lilith, then moves to confront Garline and retrieve Larva, who is lying unconscious. Garline, a Western Shinma who wanted back Larva, his old friend, had plans to destroy Miyu and break the tie between her and Larva. As Miyu fights off Garline and revives Larva, the story behind their bond is revealed. After the battle, Miyu and Larva return to discover that Reiha had destroyed Ryu and Nami. Enraged, Miyu attacks Reiha, who, before escaping, declares they are now enemies. |
