Episode 25; The Final Shinma: When Hisae is mysteriously attacked and killed, Yukari, believing Miyu is the culprit, attempts to warn Chisato. Chisato again refuses to listen, so Yukari decides to investigate for herself. After Miyu, who is also looking for Hisae's killer, saves her life from another bird Shinma, Yukari runs to warn Chisato that there is more going on than any of them had thought. In the meantime, Miyu confronts the bird Shinma, who reveals the details of his clan's latest attempt to kill the Guardian, using friendship as a weapon. After learning the entire truth, Miyu leaves Larva behind to battle with the Shinma as she goes to confront Chisato, who has been possessed by a bird Shinma. When Miyu arrives and discovers Yukari's body, the stage is set for the battle between two friends. Episode 26; Eternal Requiem: As Miyu and Chisato face off, Miyu is again reminded of her childhood, and she must make a decision regarding her destiny. Meanwhile, Larva defeats his enemy and returns to help Miyu, who, after the battle, bids Chisato a final farewell. |
