Review:
BOOM! The world is no longer existent. How far can one go before they actually stop to think that a script is not worth filming. Questions like was the person sane when they thought of the idea or is this a human being that wrote this script goes boggling in all sides of my brain. Soul Plane has potential, it has so much potential to be the worst film of the year.

I'll attempt at developing a decent review for the film, but in some parts I might erupt and trash it, but I'll hold my fingers tightly to not do so. However, the film takes place in an airplane and it features a cast that includes Tom Arnold, Kevin Hart, Method Man, Snoop Dogg, K.D. Aubert, Sofia Vergara and more. Sounds like a rather interesting mix of actors, but they aren't even in an acceptable level of acting.

The acting that is provided by each actor in Soul Plane is certainly bad and lacks what makes us human beings unique and that's of course, a personality. Aboard the plane, they are either employees or passengers. If the actors aren't trying to have sexual intercourse in every room of the airplane, then they are talking about sexual content.

This is not a subject that a film can rely on for a one hour and thirty minute running time. To make a film that completely relies on that is ridiculous, pointless and absurd. The film takes dialogue as such and has each cultural background discuss details of their bodies and that is supposed to bring laughter to its audiences.

Soul Plane has the intentions that it wanted to be bad, but achieving worse than what it set out to do is challenging and it did just that.. There are no characters to love in Soul Plane, there is no storyline that it follows and there are no signs of anything exciting to name. The unrealism in this film is also beyond me.

So lets go ahead and give the plane hydraulics. Now, why on earth would anyone want to do that. Unless, its a fantasy film which is not, it doesn't earn any right to even thinks its acceptable. Raise the music up a notch and bounce the plane up and down, then take the airplane up in the air, put it on autopilot and run around the plane.

Soul Plane, if anything insults African Americans, Caucasians and Hispanics. It constantly has dialogue of their race and how each cultural background has their advantages and disadvantages. Of course, the script doesn't demand for it to be told in a formal way, but rather in a way that holds pure disgust.

This film has a few scenes in which it attempts to actually have a storyline, but its ignore by ending with no explanation. When this occurs, its a lack of plotting anything at all and just simply trying to capture the chuckles and giggles from its viewers. There is plenty of these flaws to nod your head no to in Soul Plane and to name them all would take up too much time.

There is no hatred towards the whole ordeal of having a film take place in a airplane, although it always is risky. Its whats on screen that makes your teeth cringe constantly and your eyes roll back. With no originality and lame jokes, this plane stops before even going to first gear. This film doesn't prove anything and a vacation like this would be hell.

There is shame to be had here, with the cast and the crew. And I'm actually still wondering how someone could sit on a computer and write a screenplay like Soul Plane and actually think its going to be an achievement of some sort. It has an idea of extreme stupidity and the deliverance of the film is even worse.

The funniest part of Soul Plane though is its conclusion. The only problem is that we are all laughing at it and not with it. Soul Plane's attempt to have a conclusion, showing the characters future was the ultimate cherry on top in a disturbing way. It goes on and tells us what each character became or is doing in the future and there isn't anything in the film that earns the respect to have such a wasteful ending.

Soul Plane is a complete disaster from the start. The least a film as painful as Soul Plane can do is provide some laughs, but even that is too much trouble for it to do. This film is offensive and had more idiocy than anything else. Even with its intention to just give the audience a good time it fails miserably. This film is the bottom of the barrel for cinema and it might just hold on as the worst film of the year.
