For my final project in CIS170, I would like to remain with the option of creating a web site promoting myself to potential employers. The site would be set up for employers to access relevant information pertaining to the hiring process.

Included on the web site will be an intro page welcoming visitors to the site and explaining a little bet about what they will find inside. I have chosen to use an intro page, in case someone chooses the wrong site, my resume and information won't immediately be displayed for people to view. Once the user is inside at my Home page, there will be links to my Complete Resume, Education section, Employment section, a brief bio, and links to additional samples of my own web pages. This will give the user the ability to look at particular areas of the resume, without having to pull the entire thing. I will also include a couple of forms. One will be a request form for references; the second will be set up to request feedback on the site.

The goal of the website is to promote myself as a talented programmer/ web designer. Like an interview, this might be the first opportunity someone will have at meeting you, so I want to make it as professional as possible. The images and designs should be very minimal yet effective. I prefer to use simple designs for the theme of the site, and let my web examples show some more flashy colors and designs. I'm not quite sure what effects I plan on using, but as I learn more, I'm sure the ideas will flow.
