I think it's safe for me to say that I didn't expect much from this movie. With the original director (James Cameron) and a chunk of the original stars gone, It wouldn't be crazy to assume this movie would suck. The result, however, was quite the opposite. STORY 2.0/2.5- I was impressed by the plot of this movie. It picks up years after T2 ended, with John Connor's mother dead (A semi-acceptable excuse for The orginal actress leaving), and Johnny-boy hiding from Terminators that he feels may kill him. Seeing as so much of this movie ties in with the others, if I have to explain a lot of the other movie plots to you, you shouldn't see this movie. See the others first, they're good movies as well. Anyway, a new Terminator (Or should I say, Terminatrix, as she's been called) has been sent to kill him once again. This prompts Ahnold to return and protect him. The ending is great, probably one of the better aspects of the plot, but I won't give it away. My only gripes would be that Linda Hamilton's leaving the movie was passed off with a lame excuse, and that some of this movie is a tad predictable. SPECIAL EFFECTS: 2.5/2.5 Simply great, in keeping with the series reputation. Not much else to say about them. ACTING: 2.0/2.5 The acting in T3 was perfectly acceptable, if not good overall. Naturally, the film is very action oriented, so there isn't much room for acting. However, Arnold and the rest of the cast act well (with the exception of a few cheesy/cliched scenes). Arnold's acting is good, better than that of the previous two movies. ACTION: 2.5/2.5 Top notch. This is some thrilling stuff here. Especially if you see it in the front row (like me, for instance.) you will be blown away by the sound effects and explosions. The car chases, gunfights, and fight scenes are well organized and presented. In one scene, Arnold is dangling from a crane, and smashes into a building at 80 miles an hour, while still holding on. Also, it was done only in one take. If you're looking for excitement, look no further. Overal Score- 9/10
