I've just added the first two of what might be a lengthy series of so-called 'Richard Remaster' discs. These are shows where I have entirely re-indexed the concert and removed clicks from in-between tracks as far as is possible without losing the music. I've also brought the vocals up a bit, and made the show as good sounding as I can.
This page also includes my comments about each disc, whether it is audience or soundboard (they are soundboard unless indicated otherwise) and the running time. I've just started to do this, so may run out of
enthusiasm/time for analysing each disc! HOWEVER,
Elvis was such a remarkable performer that even my
worst quality discs are still worth having (in my opinion!) It's also worth adding here that we are damn lucky to have had sound engineers record shows and audience members record shows. To those good people this page is dedicated.

ON CD: ELVIS FEATURES/ DOCUMENTARIES
- 'The Lost Tapes'- recorded from Capital Radio in England, this is the late night show
from 16th August 1977 when the news of Elvis' death had just reached these shores. The
presenter speaks openly about Elvis' influence and plays tracks from across the King's
career. The recording was made onto several cassette tapes and was recently mastered to CD- the sound has been improved, but there are brief moments of sound loss where tapes were switched over, affecting
the music clips. The first two discs are long- the 3rd disc short, but ends with the news at
1.00 a.m. which is dominated by the reactions to Elvis' passing. Historic and rare recording. (3CD)
