After I had watched this film twice at the cinema I knew this was a film I simply had to buy. So as soon as the film was released on Video I bought an ex-rental copy of the film, Well before it was released on sell through. A few years down the road and I have also bought the film on DVD as well. As for the plot it revolves around a team of researchers aboard the floating laboratory Aquatica who have been playing god by re-engineering the DNA of mako sharks. This is not a good idea as the side effects result in making the sharks smarter, faster and more deadly Now with a tropical storm battering the sinking Aquatica. The weekend crew find themselves battling with the killer they helped to create. Well directed and with a great cast I honestly believe in the next few years people will look back and will be calling this film a classic of this genre. If you have a spare moment, why don`t you add your views on this classic film. In the Deep Blue Sea Guestbook All the best Robert Llewellyn. |
