Story:
What happens when the events that take place in your life appear to be second hand? What happens when while you wake up you debate with yourself whether or not you’re still asleep? What happens when suddenly you cant tell the difference between awake and asleep? These questions haunted the life of Lewis Jistovitch, a 24 year old working man with pretty much no life or aspirations yet a deadly gift... the gift of insight into other peoples lives and there misfortunes.
Poor Laurelai Beckerman’s father dies prior to the start of the story and she appears to be ok until she mentions his name. She yearns for her father so badly that she is driven to do anything to bring him back to life. She suddenly finds the way. Her friend tells her that she can rise the dead using any grave by reading a special incantation from a book she found in her grandmothers house under her grandmothers bed. The incantations power is supposed to be of such sublimity that it can even cause the underworld to re-arise. Laurelai, the incantist and her friends go to the cemetery to reincarnate Laurelai’s father. They perform the spiritual revival but something goes wrong... Laurelai feels a very strange presence and runs for the woods, the girls follow but lose site of Laurelai and abandon her.
As the story progresses the girls are slowly killed... but why? Was it the risen zombie? No one really knows. Lewis finds that his dreams point him to the cemetery to find Laurelai and so he sets out to find her when police and loved ones have turned out hopeless and unsuccessful...

"To Play Within Darkness" is currently being optimized for reqular theater viewing. The process provides 100% crisp clear surround sound on the movie, it also provides a 33% to 66% increase in the visual quality of the movie, depending on how much editing a given scene needs. The movie will play in Medford again in much higher quality. All the comments from premiere night have made it possible that we fix all that is wrong with the movie in quality. The movie is on video format so the quality isnt like a polaroid, but I will show you a comparison on here. (In process of being updated)
