Yes, she is girly. Yes, she sings through her nose. Yes, she borders dangerously on being another corporate pop culture clone feeding on the desperate desires of 12 year olds across the country. True she has not (or has not been allowed to show) shown any originality thicker than a strand of her own long black shiney perfect hair. BUT also, she did sing this song, and she is where she is, and relative to the rest of us...yeah, and I'm not sure but I think she writes her own lyrics, which puts her almost on the same glossy-"rock"-chick playing feild as *gasp* Michelle Branch. I like this song. I could listen to it a lot without getting tired of it, and also it stirs in me tiny bubble-gum flavored breezey feelings of young love and all that okay? so shut up.
