Britt Van Tassell Human Female, 17 years old

Britt was born in El Paso, Texas, in 2035. Her parents were killed in The Waste War. She was in school when the first wave attacked. Only after three days did she find out that her parents were both killed. She was sent to live with her mother's sister and her husband.

Britt was abused emotionally and physically. The first time that her uncle beat her, she called the police. They did nothing. The second time he came to beat her, she ran away, and never looked back.\par Britt has been living on her own for the last two years (she ran away at 15 years old). She makes a decent living from her underground home in the ruins of El Paso. She occasionally visits Lowtown when she needs money, but she mostly keeps off the streets.

Now that she's 17, Britt tends to attract all sorts of shady characters. They all know her as "The Monkey's Girl". Britt needed some money, and she was desperate, willing to do anything. She met Tiber Fitzgerrol, who was impressed by her incredible good looks. He offered to pay her $250.00 for a roll of pictures of her. Young and naive, Britt quickly accepted. She goes back to Tiber anytime she needs money. Tiber used those pictures to start an advertising campaign for a nightclub/bar, called "Monkey's", with Britt as the model. She was impressed, and agreed to more photos in the future, when Tiber needs them.

Everyone seems to know Britt, or at least know about her. They let her go her own way. Sometimes she has trouble with strangers to town, but always manages to find a way to escape.\par Britt has a good heart. She's willing to help others. That's why she helps Darien when she finds the lost angel.
