Darien Fire Female Warrior Angel, 10th Class

Accomplishments: Fought alongside Michael and his Angels as they battled the Dragon and his dark angels. Protected the newborn souls in Heaven's nursery from destruction by a corrupt Guardian Angel. Singlehandedly defeated Bruteley, a monstrous chaos demon during the Spanish Inquisition (1132 AD, in human time).

Description: Darien is slender and well built. Her gorgeous blue eyes reflect an inner strength unseen in most humans. Her light brown hair usually flows down over strong shoulders. A shock of white/light hair falls down over her left eye. Darien has a ready smile, but behind the smile lies sorrow and loss - lost memories that want to come out, but they cannot.

She wears a golden amulet around her neck, with the word FIRE in ancient writing. The necklace stays hidden most of the time, but when it emerges, it truly dazzles everyone who sees it, for it glows with a radiant inner light. This amulet was forged of pure power. The wielder of this power gains godlike radiance when they unleash the forces contained within. This amulet has a sentience, and communicates to Darien, urging her to use the power that is rightfully hers.

Characteristics: Darien Fire is naturally cautious about this new world she is trapped in. With no memory of her past, she tries to uncover truth wherever it may lie. In that respect, she has a keen mind, and is eager to learn everything she can about human behavior.\par Even though she is incredibly curious, she still holds to an inner set of values that drive her. She chooses clothes that reflect her beauty, but that do not make her appear less than she is (in other words, she doesn't wear trashy or skimpy clothing).

Biography - Darien was a tenth-class Warrior Angel. She was the best Heaven had to offer, outside the ranking Angels in leadership positions. She was chosen to wield the most powerful weapon the world would know - Angel Fire.

Darien was to be the last Angel sent to Earth to battle the darkness. All the rest of Heaven's forces were to prepare for the great and final battle. This time was for the mortals to wage their own war. The gates of Heaven were closed as Darien walked out.

She was struck by lightning as she passed through the dimensional nexus between worlds. She lost her sword, which went racing off to another part of the Earth. Darien fell to the Earth and was changed into a mortal.

She forgot everything. She only knows her name and that the amulet she wears is important. She has fighting skills that come to her naturally, but she doesn't use them, because her new friend, Britt, runs instead of fights.

Darien must find the Angels battling the forces of shadow and use Angel Fire to win this battle before it is too late. All around her are temptations. Pleasures and appetites she's never known. She has to fight this internal battle against the darkness while trying to find a place to get to the real battle.
