On fun things Hugh did with those claws: "I roasted marshmallows. [Laughs] Actually, we did this one take for the goof reel where I jumped out into the classic Wolverine position with the claws out, but the claws were like a Swiss army knife. I had scissors on one hand, a fork, a magnifying glass."

The X-Men movie has become a box office success ~ becoming Fox's third highest grossing opening movie in history. Hugh has signed on to play Wolverine in the next two installments of the trilogy.

"I was in this restaurant in Tribeca last Friday night.....and the manager comes over and after about half an hour he took off his shirt and turned around and his whole back was tattooed with Wolverine. He said, 'You just don't understand, this has made my millennium.' That guy saying those things was like more praise than any critic could give."
