Some
Big Fat In-Your-Face Caveats:
Employment agencies
exist to make money for themselves. Finding you a job that you
won't hate is a lesser priority. Most agencies make their money
from the employer, especially if they are advertising for skilled
professionals. You, the job-seeker, may also be asked to pay,
but go to the job first, see if it is all that the agency cracked
it up to be, then decide after your first day if you intend to
keep it. Don't shell out big bucks ahead of time.
I once let a job agency send me out for an alleged receptionist
job at a radio station. I get to the interview (in a tiny rent-an-office
room) and the boss-type tells me he's really looking for girls
to work in massage parlors.
Yet another agency sent me out to work at a stereo/music store.
I should have known I was in trouble when the owner locked the
front door. He dropped his pants and said, "How bad do you
want the job?" So I looked him up and down, checked out
his weenie, looked into his eyes and said, "Not that
bad." I was laughing so hard I almost had an embarrassment
happen. That guy couldn't unlock his door fast enough. Laughter
can be a most lethal weapon.
The point of this ramble being, nobody is going to look out for
your ass but you.

nothing of anyone's credibility here.
