According to reports, a movie pitting revamped versions of the creatures from MONSTER FROM A PREHISTORIC PLANET and THE X FROM OUTER SPACE against each other was in the works to take advantage of the hype surrounding the Toho and Tri-Star GODZILLA films. It quietly faded away, and there is some contention that it was nothing but a rumor to begin with. Until that is cleared up, I'm leaving it here.
