At the 2002 American Film Market convention, this title was announced as being in pre-production by Cine Excel Entertainment. Story concerns giant killer ants invading the city of New York. Their website still lists the project as in production, but seeing as how its been in the works for so long without a cast being set, I'm listing it here until it becomes more clear that it will be released.

UPDATE (4/28/05)!!! - Reader Gfan516 sent me this GREAT page of upcoming b-movie monster flicks, and 'lo and behold, GI-ANTS is one of them! Looks like we'll finally have our first entry to remove soon.
