Another "Godzilla vs. the Smog Monster" follow-up that director Yoshimitsu Banno had in mind, in which king of the monsters did battle with a starfish monster either mutated from pollution or by radiation from a fallen meteorite. The film never got far past the initial story idea. In some fan circles, the title enemy has been giving the nickname of 'Hitoda'.
