In the late 1960s, Ray Harryhausen tried to revive a project begun by Willis O'Brien (THE LAST OF THE LABYRINTHODONS), concerning a lost whale graveyard. The original idea by O'Brien had been sold, and Harryhausen discussed being involved with the revived project, but nothing ever came of it.
