Not much is known about this project. Animator Pete Peterson (a late-career co-worker of Willis O'Brien) made this test footage of a giant mutated baboon(!) rampaging in the desert, then in a city, and the project never went further. Recently, one of Peterson's co-worker's widows found the footage in a trunk, and it was included on the DVD release of the O'Brien movie THE BLACK SCORPION
