This is another one of those movies that, while finished, contained a major scene that was ultimately not released. Unlike the scene in KING KONG (1933), this one was shot (and even included on the DVD years later), it was never included in the movie proper. The scene in question has Audrey II, the alien plant, growing larger, breaking out of it's container, and rampaging across the city.
