Plot:
Based on the Jay Anson book, the original purported that
the residents of a tree lined home in a Long Island suburb were
terrorized by a haunted house. The home had been inhabited
previously by a disturbed young man who murdered his family. This
version of THE AMITYVILLE HORROR will be based squarely on the
original film that covered the 28 days that one family spent in
this famous house.
