Wayman's Good Hope AME Church 100 Hoyle Lane, Severna Park 21146 Incorporated in 1889, it is the only AME church in northern Anne Arundel County, and one of only four AME churches in the entire county. There was a church on this site in 1908. The old cradle bell from that structure (along with the corner stone) are abandoned on the east side of the church. The cemetery for the church is located in the woods on the east end of Hoyle Lane near Route 2.
