--> Gallery: Maria Sharapova
The only two encounters I've had with Maria Sharapova is with two pictures the Toronto Star printed in their Sports section. The first time, Sharapova was pictured in an NFL football uniform throwing a football supposedly with the great CFLer Doug Flutie. The second was a "poster" in the Star during the 2003 Rogers AT&T tournament held at York University. Although I haven't had the chance to see Sharapova play, from these photos, you can gather that she's pretty intense on the court!
