Plain and simple, this is one of the worst movies I have ever seen. I would love to tell you the plot of this disaster, but there either isn’t a plot to discuss, or the plot was very cleverly hidden behind a shroud of bad special effects, bad editing, bad acting and all around bad direction. The movie is supposedly a sequel to the 1995 film, Desperado, which I have never seen. So perhaps seeing that movie would shed some light on the events of this film. However, its Once Upon a Time in Mexico I am reviewing, not Desperado. And as a stand alone feature, Once Upon a Time in Mexico is an unmitigated disaster.
