In case you were greatly curious to know who made this page, well... my name is Tammy. I have brilliant lavendar fins -- never mind (how lame).
Really, I'm a "20-something" living in Olympia, WA with my wonderful fiancee, my beautiful Yorkshire Terrier, and a cool little Siamese fighting fish (hence the picture).
I'm a graduate of the Evergreen State College. I highly enjoy listening to music, and in fact have a radio show that I invite anyone and everyone to listen to on KAOS 89.3 FM, Sundays from 10-noon. (Yes, you can listen online, and while you're at it please check out my OTHER radio show that I co-host with Professor Andras -- Rick from "Nightmare on Elm Street 4" -- on Tuesdays from 6-8 pm.) My all-time favorite artist is Brian Wilson -- but my tastes go far and wide ... from the Beatles and Big Star, to Uncle Tupelo and Wilco, from Tim Buckley and Tom Waits, to Elvis Costello and Nick Lowe, from Belle & Sebastian to Julian Berntzen, from sixties rock-n-roll to lame 80s R&B. I also love movies, and tend to go for actors like Walt, who are not quite as recognized as they deserve to be. Some of my other favorites include Kevin Corrigan, Peter Sarsgaard, Jim Caviezel, Gary Oldman, Dylan Baker, Catherine Keener, Isabella Rossellini, Robert Duvall, etc. etc.
My goals are to end up in the Los Angeles area, or maybe the Bay area, or maybe even Bergen, Norway ... potentially doing something music-related (promotion?) ... plus keep on with the radio thing. I'd like to publish a book -- if my ongoing writer's block ever ends! Right now, I'm doing some work for this radio station in Shelton, Washington.
In November 2006 I was diagnosed with breast cancer. As of May 2007, I'm still being treated for that. Things are going pretty well for the most part!
So ... that is me. If you'd like to know more, you can check out my MySpace profile. Send me an email and tell me about you!
