Mario: More than just a plumber, Mario has been in countless adventures, saved more than just Princess Peach, and stopped Bowser from taking over the Mushroom Kingdom more than one would want to count. Princess Peach: Princess Peach, the ultimate damsel in distress, never ceases from being kidnapped or getting Mario into trouble. She is the guardian of the Mushroom Kingdom, gateway to the Mushroom World, and her adventurous spirit often leades her to trouble. Toad: Toad, Princess Peach's faithful servant, watches her get into trouble, and has many look-alikes. Toadsworth: Prime Minister of the Mushroom Kingdom and Princess Peach's loyal guardian, Toadsworth never seems to keep track of the Princess. Wario: Wario has threatened the Mushroom World many times by himself, but recently joined forces with the infamous Waluigi in hopes of finaly destroying the Mario Bros. Waluigi: Seen mostly in sports, Waluigi has a spirit of rivalry, matches only by Wario, towards the Mario Bros. Daisy: Quite the tomboy, Daisy is the princess of Sahara Land, and many believe her to be quite fond of Luigi. Luigi: Luigi is the younger, and taller, brother of the more famous Mario. Luigi is often seen staying behind and letting Mario take care of the villians and threats of the Mushroom Kingdom. Recently Luigi embarked upon a legendary mission to rescue Mario from a haunted mansion. Luigi will return to aid Mario in two new games coming out, Mario and Luigi 2 and The New Super Mario Bros. Yoshi Yoshi is the Mushroom Kingdom's versions of dinosaurs. Though a dinosaur, Yoshi can multipy quickly and eat just about anything from fruits to shyguy's. He is very friendly and rode by Mario if not fighting againt enemies.
Boo Boos inhabit many parts of the Mushroom World, and they are extremely common foes. Though easily defeated, a Boo should not be taken lightly. Shroob A purple mushroom alien race, the shroobs invaded the Mushroom Kingdom back when Mario and Luigi were only babies. There leader is Princess Shroob and they have control over a large army of spaceships. Magikoopa Magikoopas are servants to Bowser who are often found in the ancient castles surrounding the Mushroom Kingdom. They come in multiple colors and use their magic wands to attack Mario. Sir Grodus Sir Grodus is the leader of the X-Nauts and has a cloak as a status symbol. He wears goggles just like all other X-Nauts. He use his magic staff to attack Mario and his partners with spells. His head is partially electronic for some unkown reason. Lord Crump Is an X-Naut who is determined to stop Mario at any cost. All of his numerous attempts have failed, but he did manage to survive and return to the Mushroom World with his master Sir Grodus shortly after his final loss. Professor Frankly As a professor of archeology at Goomba University he taught Mario's friend Goombella. Professor Frankly is the one who explained the legend of the Crystal Stars to Mario whall exploring the ruins in Rogueport. Goombella Goombella is working with Professor Frankly to uncover the secrets of the Crystal Stars. She joins Mario early in his adventure to Rogueport and it is believed that she has had a crush on Mario for quite some time. She is a rather smart goomba and knows much of the surrounding lands around Rogueport. Koops Most citizens of Petalburg saw Koops as just a cowardly turtle who would never do anything great. That would all change when Koops left with Mario to avenge his father's death against the terrible dragon Hooktail. He completed the heroic task and found out his father was alive the whole time and instead of staying in Petalburg he continued to travel with Mario for the quest of the Crystal Stars. Hooktail Hooktail is the dreaded dragon of Hooktail castle and holds the Diamond Star inside her stomach. She has two siblings, named Gloomtail and Bonetail. They were all 3 the Shadow Queen's pets at one time. Yoob A creation of the Shroobs, Yoob attacks Yoshi Village on Yoshi's Island by eating as many Yoshis as he can find. It is believed that the Yoshis Yoob eats eventually turn into Yoobs as well.
