I'm a 21/m from Northwest Indiana, near Chicago, Illinois. My interests are reading - mainly science related non-fiction (I like to learn something if i'm going to spend the time reading it.)
, astronomy (I'm an amature astronomer and avid sky-watcher), skateboarding (since I was 11), science-fiction (x-files, of course, and Star Trek).
I like anything that has to do with Albert Einstein or Stephen Hawking (yeah, the wheelchair guy. lol).
I love (and collect) Stanley Kubrick films. The man's a genius! Surfing the net has become somewhat of an ADDICTION for me, but I don't spend nearly as much time doing that as I do learning HTML and web-design for this here page of mine.
I still chat my bloody brains out though. God only knows where I'd be without ICQ! lol
Of course I love hanging out with my friends and going to clubs, bars, and all the places us 21 year-old's are supposed to go (although I've noticed it can be a little difficult staying out of trouble. hehe)
For a living I paint cars. I'm an apprentice actually.
But I love the work, I'm good at it, and I'm putting the money away for college this coming Spring.
I plan to study astronomy, naturally, since it's the only thing in my life that has continuosly stimulated my mind, my imagination, and my sense of wonder since childhood.
I suppose I could paint cars for the rest of my life and be happy because I enjoy the work so much and I'd be able to support a family, but it's just not ME.
We all feel our lives should be as meaningful as possible, and I'm no different, and I can't think of anything more meaningful than pondering the mysteries of the universe 'for a living'!
But until then I'm changing all sorts of cars all sorts of different colors and having fun doing it.
